Sporting KC's Erik Palmer-Brown celebrates birthday with shaving cream "pie" | SIDELINE

When Sporting Kansas City defender Erik Palmer-Brown told MLSsoccer.com on Tuesday, "I'm ready for it," we don't think he was talking about a towel full of shaving cream to the face to celebrate his 17th birthday.

Nevertheless, when Palmer-Brown, signed last year by Sporting KC as the youngest Homegrown player in MLS history, turned 17 on Thursday, that's exactly what he got from teammate Dom Dwyer.

With Palmer-Brown sat down for a post-training interview to be featured on SportingKC.com, the English prankster was busy arming himself with towel, shaving cream and, of course, a partner in crime to hold the smartphone and record video evidence.

"What is that smell?" was all that Palmer-Brown could muster with shaving cream coming out of his eyes, nose and mouth.

Erik, you're 17 now, it's hopefully time to start shaving once or twice a year.
