VIDEO: KICKTV's "Follow Me" series checks in on former Sporting KC forward Kei Kamara | SIDELINE

Kei Kamara

Ever thought to yourself, "I wonder what Kei Kamara has been up to since he left Sporting Kansas City and MLS?"

Taking into account the fact that he was one of the most outgoing, well-liked, personable players the league has ever seen, surely Kamara's name has crossed a few minds once or twice since his transfer to Middlesbrough FC last September on transfer deadline day.

Luckily for all of those folks, our friends at KICKTV recently made the trip to not-so-sunny England (the rain is just fine with Kamara, he says) and caught up with MLS's original Chipotle burrito addict.

Different cuisine, driving on the left side of the road, suddenly being the new guy in the locker room — none of those things have bothered Kamara in adjusting to life in the UK. His issue, you ask? Waking up for those early afternoon and mid-day kickoffs instead of 7:30 pm local time kickoffs in Kansas City.

In his first seven months with the Championship club, the 29-year-old Sierra Leone international has scored five goals in 26 appearances.
