Fomenko’s choices for Ukraine who, at 18th in the FIFA rankings, are the best team not to have qualified for the 2014 World Cup, also include 34-year-old former Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, the country’s all-time caps leader with 131.

The match, originally set to be played in Kharkiv, has been moved to the Mediterranean island of Cyprus due to violence from protests that have occurred in the capital city of Kiev for the past several weeks.
