USMNT's Michael Bradley sports Canadian hockey sweater after losing Olympic bet | SIDELINE

Michael Bradley with AS Roma

Poor Michael Bradley.

All he did was have a little faith in those hockey-playing Yanks when they faced their Canadian neighbors in the Olympics semifinal round last week.

So much faith, in fact, that he put his metaphorical money where his mouth is and wagered a bet with Toronto FC first-team assistant coach Jim Brennan, who's Canadian. It was a bet meant to embarrass the loser.

And Team USA let Bradley down, losing 1-0. Canada would go on to win Olympic gold.

The result? The 82-time-capped US national team midfielder was forced to wear a Canadian hockey sweater at Toronto FC training on Tuesday in Orlando.

Poor Michael Bradley. This is unacceptable, USA Hockey. Unacceptable.
