On Wednesday morning, former LA Galaxy and English international midfielder David Beckham will, as always, assume his place in the soccer spotlight.

Beckham will be joined at the press conference, to be held at Perez Art Museum Miami, by MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez.
In recent months, Beckham has been headlining a potential MLS expansion bid in Miami. Local figures, including Mayor Gimenez and Miami Heat star LeBron James, have offered their support, and Beckham is reportedly already in negotiations for a 25,000-seat stadium on the waterfront.
