Wiz Khalifa has a North American club team, Chivas de Guadaljara

International rap star Wiz Khalifa has chosen sides in The Great North American Club Soccer Battle of 2014.

Known legally as Cameron Jibril Thomaz, the 26-year-old — perhaps unknowingly — pledged his allegiances south of the border to Liga MX powerhouse club Chivas de Guadalajara when he posted the below picture of himself wearing a CD Guadalajara jacket backstage before a show to his official Instagram account over the weekend.

The rapper's decision is said* to have angered greatly fans of the third-division USL PRO franchise in Pittsburgh, the Riverhounds, the city in which Wiz Khalifa attended high school and honed his rap skills during the mid-2000s.

The transfer package to obtain Thomaz's North American club soccer allegiance is rumored* to include a sold-out concert at Chivas's 50,000-seat Estadio Omnilife, with the rapper keeping 100 percent of the proceeds.
