International rap star Wiz Khalifa has chosen sides in The Great North American Club Soccer Battle of 2014.

Known legally as Cameron Jibril Thomaz, the 26-year-old — perhaps unknowingly — pledged his allegiances south of the border to Liga MX powerhouse club Chivas de Guadalajara when he posted the below picture of himself wearing a CD Guadalajara jacket backstage before a show to his official Instagram account over the weekend.

The rapper's decision is said* to have angered greatly fans of the third-division USL PRO franchise in Pittsburgh, the Riverhounds, the city in which Wiz Khalifa attended high school and honed his rap skills during the mid-2000s.

The transfer package to obtain Thomaz's North American club soccer allegiance is rumored** to include a sold-out concert at Chivas's 50,000-seat Estadio Omnilife, with the rapper keeping 100 percent of the proceeds.
