Donovan & Keane. Donovan & Keane. Donovan & Keane. It's like a broken record. For a reason, I guess. And they'll get it done in leg 1, but I see Saborio skinning Opare once to produce an all-important goal for RSL to take home with them.

So LA's backline is banged up. They made Tommy Meyer a postseason star last year, and they'll do it again with Kofi Opare this time. The postseason is a totally different mentality for the Galaxy. It's when they put the pedal to the metal.

Donovan and Keane at home. Enough said.

Jason Kreis and Co. will likely head into StubHub with a defense-first approach, but Donovan and Keane will run riot anyway. And RSL still can't score.

Both teams are something close to full fitness, so this will end up being an open, attacking game. RSL will find a pair of goals and put LA under real pressure for the trip to Sandy.

I have a funny feeling about Keane. Namely, that he's going to follow up last year's playoff heroics with even more fireworks. RSL will still get their chances, but it's the Irishman that decides the first leg.

Two talented teams on both sides of the ball with very savvy head coaches can cancel each other out often times. I expect a moment of brilliance from the Keane-Donovan combo to end up being the difference.

Nick Rosano

Expect the Galaxy to take full advantage of having the first leg at home and build an insurmountable lead to take back to Rio Tinto Stadium.

As my colleague Matt Doyle would say: "In Bruce, we trust."
