Camilo's Budweiser Golden Boot-winning hat trick earns Vancouver Whitecaps star Player of the Week

For someone whose team was already eliminated from playoff contention, Camilo Sanvezzo enjoyed as good of a week as could have been imagined.

Camilo led the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 3-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids in their regular-season finale on Sunday, scoring an impressive hat trick that saw him claim the 2013 Budweiser Golden Boot. That performance also earned Camilo the MLS Player of the Week award in Week 35, marking the league-best fourth time that he has won that distinction this year. (See how the North American Soccer Reporters voted here.)

The Whitecaps end the 2013 season with seven MLS Player of the Week honors, far and away the largest total this year. The LA Galaxy finished in second with four.
