Vancouver Whitecaps' hat trick hero Kekuta Manneh earns Week 33's Player of the Week honors

The youngest player to ever score a hat trick in MLS is now the latest to claim the MLS Player of the Week award.

Kekuta Manneh was voted Week 33's top player after his impressive three-goal performance in the Vancouver Whitecaps' 4-1 victory over the Seattle Sounders last Wednesday. Manneh scored all three of his goals inside of an hour against his team's Cascadia Cup rivals, keeping Vancouver's playoffs hopes alive and giving the 18-year-old rookie five on the season. (See how the North American Soccer Reporters voted here.)

Manneh is the fourth member of the Whitecaps to earn the award in 2013 — joining Camilo, Brad Knighton and Kenny Miller — and does so a week after Camilo was named the Week 32 winner for a two-goal performance in a draw against Portland.
