Should USMNT manager Jurgen Klinsmann be suspended after ejection? | THE SIDELINE

Jurgen Klinsmann reacts against Honduras

Should USMNT manager Jurgen Klinsmann be suspended for the Gold Cup final?

It's the biggest talking point of the Gold Cup semifinal which saw the US national team waltz to a 3-1 win over Honduras on Wednesday night.

With just minutes left and the result in hand, was Costa Rican referee Walter Quesada harsh to toss USMNT manager Jurgen Klinsmann for arguing against the third foul suffered by his captain, DaMarcus Beasley, in the latter part of the second half.

Although it's not seen in the video above, reports indicate that Klinsmann spiked the ball into the ground, which may have given Quesada no choice.

But now the question is whether the CONCACAF Disciplinary Committee will decide to suspend Klinsmann for Sunday's Gold Cup final in Chicago (see the tournament regulations here). Word is the committee will rule within 24-48 hours of the concusion of the match.
