Who should be the US national team's captain vs. Costa Rica & Mexico?
The US national team has two massive 2014 World Cup qualifiers in the next week, on Friday at home to Costa Rica and next Tuesday away to Mexico.
Many of the squad mainstays, including recent captains Carlos Bocanegra and Tim Howard, were not called in due to questions around their form and injuries. Bocanegra was left off for a coach's decision by Jurgen Klinsmann; Howard suffered two small fractures in his back while recently playing with Everton.
Naturally, many fans and pundits are wondering who will take the armband for the US this week. We all have our theories about who Klinsi will choose. (I think it will be Clint Dempsey.)
