Fans of a potential expansion team in the New York borough of Queens received some interesting news on Tuesday, courtesy of the New York Post.
The mayor's office reportedly has a short list of priority projects, and the soccer stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park is among them.
That news comes on the heels of a survey that reveals that 71 percent of Queens residents support the stadium project. Last month, MLS officials discussed details of the plan for the first time.
