LA's Beckham wins fourth AT&T Goal of the Week award

David Beckham on free kick vs. Vancouver (September 1, 2012)

Even after all these years, fans can't get enough of watching David Beckham bend it like only he can.

His curling free kick sealed the result against the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend and earned the fan vote as the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 26, beating out teammate Juninho, who had an impressive strike of his own in the same match.

Wilman Conde's late equalizer in DC, another free kick by San Jose's Ramiro Corrales and the 100th goal by D.C. United's Dwayne De Rosario brought up the rear.

The award is Beckham's fourth Goal of the Week honor this season after Week 6, Week 10 and Week 19

The Englishman now has a career-high seven MLS goals this season and his tally is even surprising him: “I'm not usually scoring that many, but I'll take it,” he said after Saturday's match.

The AT&T Goal of the Week winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and via text message.
