Wicked strike by Revs' Sene wins Goal of the Week

Philadelphia 'keeper Zac MacMath comes off his line to stop New England forward Saer Sene

Nasty.

That's the only way to describe the knuckling effect that New England Revolution forward Saer Sene applied to his 25-yard left-footed blast that fans elected as the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 21.

The strike, Sene's ninth of the season, gave New England a momentary lead that was eventually overturned by the Union by game's end.

The 25-year-old Frenchman beat out Seattle's Osvaldo Alonso by a single percentage point in the voting. The Sounders' All-Star won last Saturday night's match in Colorado with a volley that gathered 26 percent of the voting.

Jairo Arrieta (Columbus Crew), Steven Lenhart (San Jose Earthquakes) and Chris Rolfe (Chicago Fire) rounded out the Top 5.
