AMSTERDAM — Josh Gatt notched an assist for the fourth straight game on Wednesday evening, helping Molde FK reach the NM Cupen quarterfinals with a wild 4-3 victory over Rosenborg.
Six minutes before the break, the American winger sent Davy Claude Angan in alone for the first of four consecutive Molde goals that overturned an early deficit. Gatt, whose assist streak is evenly split between cup and league matches, also went close to scoring twice and drew a second half yellow card as the hosts hung on late for the win.
Molde have now won nine straight competitive games at home, where they are also unbeaten in 21.
