AT&T GOTW Update: Julio Cesar volley in lead on last day

If not for the net, Júlio César's volley might still be traveling.

The Brazilian's back-post rocket off a Graham Zusi corner kick gave Sporting Kansas City a 2-0 advantage over Toronto FC and is currently running away with AT&T Goal of the Week voting for Weeks 13-15.

Sébastien Le Toux's finish off a perfectly weighted ball from Davide Chiumiento sits in second place, but is still a ways back.

If the results hold, it will be the second consecutive nod for Sporting Kansas City, as C.J. Sapong won in Week 12.

There's still time to voice your opinion. Cast your ballot before voting ends on Thursday at 11:59 pm PT. The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and via text and is announced on Fridays.

Here's how the voting stands as of Thursday morning:

  1. Júlio César (SKC), 54%
  2. Sébastien Le Toux (VAN), 24%
  3. Felipe (MTL), 14%
  4. Eddie Johnson (SEA), 6%
  5. Darren Mattocks (VAN), 2%
