AMSTERDAM — Bryan Gerzicich and leaders Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona extended their Ligat Ha'Al unbeaten run to 21 games on Monday, but were forced to settle for a share after conceding a 1-1 equalizer to hosts Maccabi Tel Aviv near time.
The defensive midfielder worked his usual 90 minutes, helping the surprise package move 10 points clear at the top.
Ironi Kiryat Shmona also remained the only club in Israel's top flight without a loss on the road, while the other clubs each have no less than three. On Sunday, they return home to welcome defending champs Maccabi Haifa.
