Just days after picking up 12 players through the Expansion Draft and a trade, the Montreal Impact have continued to build out their roster. On Friday, the 2012 expansion side announced the signing of former US youth international Bryan Arguez.

Arguez, 22, was originally drafted by D.C. United in 2007, and after one season at RFK Stadium, move to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin. In two years in Germany, he made one appearance in the first team.

After spending some time with Estoril Praia in Portugal and Miami FC in 2010, Arguez joined the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers of the NASL in 2011. He made 19 appearances and help the Strikers reach the NASL final.

"Bryan has had a very strong season in 2011 with the Strikers," said Impact head coach Jesse Marsch. "He is a strong and talented young player who has a lot of potential."

Arguez represented the USA at the 2007 and 2009 U-20 World Cups.
