AMSTERDAM — Several American Exports punched the time clock in Europe on Wednesday, with Chievo midfielder Michael Bradley enjoying a 1-0 win over visiting Napoli in his first Serie A start.
The US midfielder worked a competent shift at right defensive midfield as the Flying Donkeys soared up to 10th place on an opportunistic strike by Davide Moscardelli 18 minutes from time.
Over in Scottish Communities League Cup play, Alejandro Bedoya got his first Rangers start in a losing cause as the holders went down 3-2 in extra time at Falkirk. Bedoya put in a decent 59 minutes on his return from a calf knock, while club and country teammate Carlos Bocanegra went the distance in the away defense.
