Happy Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4), MLS fans! All weekend long you can tweet us a photo @MLS from your holiday celebrations wearing MLS gear for a chance to win the MLS scarf of your choice.
Description
To enter, send us a tweet that includes the link to your photo at a Canada Day or 4th of July celebration where you or another person is wearing gear from your favorite MLS team. Your tweet must contain the following four elements to be considered eligible:
(1) @MLS twitter handle
(2) #MLS hashtag
(3) #CanadaDay OR #4thofJuly hashtag
(4) Link to your photo (that includes somebody in MLS/club gear) available on public domain (ex. Twitpic, Lockerz, Yfrog, Photobucket, Flickr, etc.)
The giveaway begins on Friday, July 1 at 9 AM EST and ends on Monday, July 4 at 6 PM EST. All eligible tweets received will be entered into a drawing from which a winner will be randomly selected to receive the MLS club scarf of his/her choice. The winner will be notified by Twitter Direct Message (DM).
Official Social Media Giveaway Rules
Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of any Major League Soccer LLC, its member teams, Soccer United Marketing, L.L.C. and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries & affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their same household, whether or not related, are not eligible for any @MLS giveaway. @MLS will determine giveaway recipients in its sole and absolute discretion.
If you have received an @MLS giveaway in the last 30 days, you’re not eligible. If you live more than 75 miles from the field where a game for which tickets are being given away will be played, you are not eligible for that ticket giveaway. If a giveaway recipient is determined to be ineligible, @MLS may, in its sole and absolute discretion, not give away the goods or ticket(s) or may give the goods or ticket(s) to the next eligible follower.
You will be required to privately (through Twitter direct message or email) provide your name and address if you are selected as a giveaway recipient.
