With news of US national team striker Edson Buddle having signed with 2.Bundesliga side Ingolstadt on Monday, one has to wonder just how well the LA Galaxy will do without the team's leading goalscorer of 2010.
Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena previously said that Landon Donovan will play as a forward in 2011, and the team could ink Re-Entry Draft pick Juan Pablo Angel. Both or either move could help fill the void left by Buddle.
But the opposite could hold true, and defending Supporters' Shield-winners might not be able to make up the gap.
