Hannover 96 among teams courting Beasley

DaMarcus Beasley has received an offer from Hannover 96, and clubs in France and Holland are interested.

AMSTERDAM ā€“ As the summer transfer market heads into its final week, the representative for free-agent US National Team winger DaMarcus Beasley has confirmed reported interest from Hannover 96.

In addition, the erstwhile Rangers FC speedster has recently been in contact with a second team from the bottom half of last season's Bundesliga table, Ligue 1 outfit Nice and an Eredivisie club that is not former employers PSV Eindhoven.

"There have been some discussions with Hannover, one French club, another Bundesliga club and a Dutch club," Beasley's agent, Lyle Yorks, told MLSsoccer.com.

Beasley has been on the lookout for a new club since before appearing in his third World Cup for the United States this June in South Africa. His three-year Rangers deal expired on July 1.

Since leaving the Chicago Fire in 2004, has won seven bits of league and domestic cup silver with PSV and Rangers. His only club stint without a medal came during a Manchester City loan spell in between those two tenures.
