Philadelphia's Seitz wins Napa Save of the Week

Chris Seitz has won Napa Save of the Week for Week 11.

Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Chris Seitz has taken a great deal of heat this year. But he has been rounding into form of late, and this week his athletic diving save on a shot from Marco Pappa in the Union’s 2-1 loss to the Chicago Fire was voted Napa Save of the Week for Week 11.

Seitz won 51% of the votes on MLSsoccer.com, beating out Kansas City Wizards netminder Jimmy Nielsen (43%), whose brave stop on Jacob Peterson helped preserve a 0-0 draw in Toronto.

Saves from Houston’s Pat Onstad won 4% and 1% of the votes, respectively, while Toronto’s Stefan Frei earned 2%.
