Real Salt Lake joined by Real Madrid Saturday at 12:00 noon to break ground on Sandy stadium site

SANDY, UT - After a week of discussions with city, county and state officials, David W. Checketts will announce Saturday the decision to move forward with the construction of a new stadium in Sandy, Utah. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on the site of the new stadium, and will feature elected leaders, team officials, and the entire rosters of both teams competing in Saturday night's XanGo Cup match between Real Salt Lake and Real Madrid.
