Wizards host 'First Look' practice Feb. 9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Wizards will host their annual "First Look" Practice for Season Ticket Holders on Wednesday, February 9th beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Arrowhead Indoor Training Facility. The training session will then be followed by a U.S. National Team Watch Party in the Pavilion at Arrowhead for the U.S. vs. Trinidad & Tobago World Cup Qualifier, beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.


The Annual "First Look" Practice allows Wizards Season Ticket Holders, along with prospective Season Ticket Holders, the first opportunity to check out the Kansas City Wizards as they begin training for the 2005 season. Fans can watch the Wizards training session and meet the newest members of the squad. This year's open training session will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. CT on February 9th. Wizards players and coaches will then be available for autographs from 6:30 to 7:00 in the Indoor Facility.


Following the "First Look" Practice, fans are invited to the Pavilion at Arrowhead, located across from Gate E, where the Wizards will show a tape-delayed broadcast of the U.S. Men's National Team's opening match of Qualifying for the 2006 World Cup. The U.S. will take on Trinidad & Tobago at Port-of-Spain Trinidad earlier in the day (1:30 p.m. CT) in the first of 10 final-round Qualifying matches leading up to next year's World Cup. Complimentary Papa John's pizza and Pepsi products will be available while supplies last during the Watch Party.
