FC DALLAS HOSTS CHIVAS USA AT BUDWEISER HISPANIC HERITAGE NIGHT:
FC Dallas will host Chivas USA this weekend at the 10th Annual Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night (details below) on Saturday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. (CST).

Despite the loss this past Saturday, FC Dallas still remains in second place of the Western Conference with a 10-7-5 record for 35 points. San Jose is the conference leader with 41 points, but FC Dallas still has one game-in-hand.


The match against Chivas USA can be heard on English Radio (KFCD - 990 AM) and on Spanish Radio (Radio AYO - 1540 AM).

BUDWISER HISPANIC HERITAGE NIGHT AT PIZZA HUT PARK: FC Dallas is proud to present "Budweiser Hispanic Heritage Night" at Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, August 27 in conjunction with their Western Conference match-up against the Chivas USA.


The night will include pregame and half-time festivities (all free to fans holding a FC Dallas game ticket) with live Mariachi and performances by local folkloric dancers, great food and drinks. FC Dallas will also hold a free postgame concert inside the stadium by standout artists, "La Sonora Dinamita", following the match.


RONNIE O'BRIEN NAMED TO THE MLS SELECT TEAM THAT WILL FACE REAL MADRID: Major League Soccer announced last Friday the 19-man roster that will travel to Spain to face nine-time European champions Real Madrid on Tuesday, August 23 in the 27th annual Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu. The star-studded MLS Select Team includes FC Dallas midfielder Ronnie O'Brien. The 19-man roster will be comprised of 13 American players and six international stars (Ronnie O'Brien, Youri Djorkaeff, Amado Guevara, Shalrie Joseph, Jaime Moreno and Douglas Sequeira).


The international match at the legendary Santiago Bernabeu will be broadcast live in the United States on Tuesday starting at 2:30 p.m. (CST) on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Español.


U.S OPEN CUP QUARTERFINAL ON WEDNESDAY: FC Dallas will have two meaningful matches this week with the first one coming on Wednesday against DC United in the quarterfinal of the U.S. Open Cup. FC Dallas defeated the Columbus Crew by a 3-1 final on August 3 during fourth round play and will now travel to D.C. to take on DC United at Maryland Soccerplex. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. (CST). The winner of the match will play either the Chicago Fire or the Rochester Rhinos (USL-1) in the semifinals. This important match-up can be heard live on KFCD 990 AM starting with the pre-game show at 6:00 PM.


FC DALLAS WEEKLY AT DAVE AND BUSTER'S IN FRISCO: Please join us this Thursday night for the weekly FC Dallas Radio Show with Ray Canevari on KFCD 990 AM. "FC Dallas Weekly" airs every Thursday from 6 - 7 p.m. on KFCD. Like every Thursday, Canevari and KFCD will be at Dave and Buster's at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. Canevari is scheduled to have interviews with Head Coach Colin Clarke, SMU Women's Soccer Coach John Cosaboon, FC Dallas midfielder Ramon Nuñez, Indiana University Coach Mike Freitag and former Dallas Tornado Kyle Rote Jr.
