Real Salt Lake Reserve's goals were scored by forward Dante Washington, forward Jordan Cila, midfielder Luke Kreamalmeyer and defender Michael Lookingland.
Chivas USA's put it behind the net with goals from forward Milton Blanco in the first half and midfielder Mike Muñoz in the second.
