MLS, SUM move over to Fifth Avenue

Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing moved into new headquarters on Monday. The new 27,900 sq. ft. office space located on the corner of 37th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City provides significantly more space than MLS and SUM had at the previous office in midtown Manhattan. MLS and SUM had been located across the street from Grand Central Terminal on 42nd Street in Manhattan since 1996. Prior to 1996, MLS was headquartered in Los Angeles.

The new MLS and SUM office, located in a building that was previously occupied by Turner Broadcasting, was selected after an extensive search in conjunction with CBRE, which served as the league's real estate agent. MLS and SUM owners continue to invest for the long term, as an 11-year lease was signed for the new league headquarters to usher in the second decade of Major League Soccer in America.
