Metros star in educational video

The MetroStars were on the campus of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., to shoot a video for the team's "Score at School" program last week. Quinnipiac students produced the video as part of an alliance between the MetroStars and the University.

"Score at School" is a MetroStars-sponsored educational program that helps make learning fun by using soccer in the classroom. More than 15,000 elementary and middle school students from the New York/New Jersey area participate in the program. Successful students earn tickets to see a MetroStars game at Giants Stadium.

"The video is a critical part of the Score at School program," said MetroStars senior marketing manager Lindsay Daywalt. "Through a creative and interesting format, the video delivers many important messages to the students."

John Wolyniec, Mark Lisi, Tim Regan and Seth Stammler star in the video and communicate important messages to the students. The video conveys the importance of setting goals and provides tips on how to reach them through focus, drive and commitment. The video will be played in all "Score at School" classrooms.
