CARSON, CA - The Los Angeles Galaxy kick off the first edition of the Galaxy Clásico I adult soccer tournament, brought to you by Nike, Kohls, Infinity, Western Union, and La Curacao, beginning today through Sunday at the San Bernardino Soccer Complex. Teams in two divisions representing the best in Southern California and the outlying areas will compete for cash and prizes with the winners being crowned on Sunday, May 1. Fans are encouraged to come out to catch all of the great soccer action of the Galaxy Clásico I, but don't forget to stop by special sponsor booths for games, prizes, and information on their products, services and career opportunities.
1. Men's Open Division - Sold Out (Over $7,500 in total prize money)
a. Winning team will also play the Galaxy reserves at a later date (if local).
b. Galaxy scouts will be in attendance.
2. Men's Over 40 Division ($2,500 in Prize Money)
Prizes: Division winners will receive a cash prize, team trophy and individual medals.
