Major League Soccer's Disciplinary Committee announced Thursday that D.C. United defender Ryan Nelsen has been issued a $100 fine for a showing a lack of respect for the game in United's 3-2 win over the MetroStars on Sunday. The fine corresponds to the amount equivalent to a fine for a caution on the player.
