San Jose Earthquakes players Troy Dayak and Tighe Dombrowski participated in a soccer-clinic for over 50 underprivileged children at the Ohlone-Chynoweth housing complex on the afternoon of Sunday, June 27.

The children from the low income housing complex were split up into different age groups, and half of the group participated in soccer drills with Dombrowski and MLS Camps coaches. The other half listened to Dayak give a talk to the children about sports and succeeding in life. After the event, both Dayak and Dombrowski signed autographs for the children and posed for pictures.

San Jose coucilmember Judy Chirco was in attendence for the event, as was Bill Cilker, a Mayor's Kick's 4 Kids sponsor who leases the land that the Ohlone-Chynoweth complex was built on. It is Cilker's goal to provide San Jose children with positive role models, and he was adamant on including the Earthquakes and Dayak and Dombrowski in the event.
