In a pair of friendlies involving MLS players on the international date, Haiti lost 6-0 to Brazil in Port-au-Prince in the "Match for Peace", as Colorado Rapids striker Jean-Philippe Peguero started against the world champions. The Galaxy's Alejandro Moreno was an unused substitute in Venezuela's 3-2 loss to Spain.
