OUTSIDE MLS: Arboleda rose through the youth academy of Independiente Santa Fe, one of the largest clubs in Colombia with eight league titles. He joined Club Tijuana in 2014 and scored five goals in 12 appearances for the Tijuana reserves. Arboleda, 20, returned to Santa Fe in 2015 and scored one goal in six first-team appearances for Los Cardenales and added one more in goal in the Copa Colombia.
