Looking to add depth on the back line and make a statement in his first MLS season, Lassiter will join the Red Bulls after a very successful and decorated career at North Carolina State University. Lassiter brings strong technical ability to New York’s defense, as he started every game during his time with the Wolfpack. Playing mostly center back in college, the left-footed Lassiter tallied 12 goals and 8 assists in his collegiate career.

Started every game at North Carolina State University, earning a spot on the 2007 ACC All-Freshman Team and a spot on the 2010 Second Team All-ACC. During his senior campaign, in which he was named to the Second Team All-ACC, Lassiter led the Wolfpack in points with 18 and assists with six, to go along with being tied for the team lead in goals with six. Played for the `88 CASL Elite since 2000 and helped the team win the US Club Soccer Champion’s Cup in 2006.
