Stephen Annor Gyamfi

Annor joined Houston after being selected with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft. The forward spent most of last season with Dynamo 2 in MLS NEXT Pro, appearing in 22 matches (12 starts), recording three goals and one assist and helping the team secure their third straight postseason berth. Notably, Annor was rostered in the opening 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup matches versus St. Louis CITY SC and during last season’s Opening Weekend against Sporting Kansas City.

Before joining the Dynamo, Annor was a member of the 2024 Generation adidas class and scored a team-high 10 goals, including a conference-best five game-winning scores. He appeared in 19 games for the University of Virginia, leading the Cavaliers to the third round of the NCAA tournament while becoming the first Virginia player to reach double-digit goals (10) since 2019.
