Sergio Ramos has been a steadying presence for the Spanish national team and Real Madrid for 10 years. He is capable of playing in central defense or as a right back and has been named to FIFA's World XI four times (2008, 2011-2013).
SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM
Ramos has been one of Spain's most integral parts in their runs at the last two European Championships and the 2010 World Cup. He made 18 starts in the three tournaments combined.
CLUB CAREER
Starting his professional career with Sevilla, Ramos was signed by Real Madrid after only one full season with the club. Since joining Los Blancos he has made over 30 starts in La Liga in every season but one. Recently he scored two goals against Bayern Munich to put his club in the UEFA Champions League Final.
