Signed with NSC Minnesota Stars (USSF D2) in May, debuting against Miami FC on May 22. Made 21 appearances in League competition, starting the club’s final 18 games as a left back, including starts in both legs of USSF D2 quarterfinals. Recognized as team Rookie of the Year. After rookie season, trialed with Kansas City in November.

COLLEGE:
After red-shirting in 2005, Lorenz was a four-year letter winner at University of Wisconsin from 2006-2009, recording 10 assists and 14 goals, five of which were game-winners. Made 70 appearances as a mainstay in Badgers lineup, including 58 consecutive starts beginning in his sophomore season, while being used in several positions throughout the field. Named to Second Team All-Big Ten in junior and senior seasons. Also played with NPSL’s Chicago Fire while in college, being named a 2009 NPSL Midwest Region All-Star.

YOUTH:
Played club soccer for FC 96ers and Chicago Sockers. Attended Barrington High School, leading the team in goals with 19 as a senior captain and earning All-Conference Player of the Year honors in addition to All-Area and All-State recognition.

PERSONAL:
