Veteran 'keeper who had a knack for leading the Tar Heels to PK shootout wins. Started for the 2011 national championship team.
What Scouts Say: "Smart GK who is capable of the big moments… sees the game well, good enough with feet… leader ...He'd be a decnet No. 2 or No. 3 at a club for next two years. Ever a no. 1? I don't know ... proibaly not MLS pro goalkeeper ..... For being a little undersizezd -- not a lot undersized ... he does have presence there ... part of job is organizing group so you don't have to make great saves ... give Scott credit for doing that because didn't concede many goals but wasn't really stretched to make fanstatic saves ... I'd look into what his soccer IQ is ... is he doing organization? .... maybe better statistically than really is ... He goes in the Jon Busch and Nick Rimando category ... extremely athletic ...extremely quick ... so for not a tall guy there's no doubt he can pull a ball out of the upper 90 ... he's good. Needs to get better with kicking game ... very smart and works as hard as you find ... I think he still has a lot of growth within him."

2010: Second Team ESPN Academic All-District selection.
2009: Played in four games with three starts.
