Prim, 20, comes to the Crew after spending the last two seasons with San Lorenzo de Almagro, the famed Buenos Aires club that produced such talent as Ivan Cordoba and Jose Luis Chilavert. The Campana, Argentina, native made his professional debut on Sept. 26, 2009 in a 3-2 win over Tigre of Victoria.
“Prim is a talented young player,” said Crew head coach Robert Warzycha. “He has a lot of potential. He can shoot from distance and his work rate is very good. He is a good midfielder who can really change the game when he’s on the field.”
Prim first joined the Crew during was invited to a trial with the Crew, where he impressed the technical staff over the course of six preseason appearances in Arizona.
