Career Summary

CURRENT CLUB: Lille (France)

Salomon Kalou has enjoyed a career renaissance after joining Lille from Chelsea prior to the 2012-13 season. He has scored at least 14 goals in each of the past two seasons.

IVORY COAST NATIONAL TEAM

Kalou has registered over 60 caps with the Elephants and scored more than 20 goals in his international career. He scored five goals during this cycle of World Cup qualifying.

CLUB CAREER

Kalou played for Feyenoord before signing with Chelsea in 2006. In his first five seasons with the club he made at least 23 appearances in every season and scored a total of 36 goals. After he was mostly relegated to the bench in 2011-12 he signed with Lille.
