WHAT THE COACHES SAY: “He's the type of goalscorer who translates to the next level … He's a dangerous guy in the box, and there aren't enough of those guys in this country … Pure finisher. Makes good runs. Plots his chances. Good size and good speed. Goal scorer. Good player. Target player. Dangerous in box. Same category as [Patrick] Mullins ... I think he gets a look ... You score that number of goals, you're doing something right ... He's a little bit more than that – has edge to his game and grit. Works hard for his goals. Good with his head. Needs to get a little more physically developed for MLS. But has more potential than other forwards. His eye for goal is good and has pretty good work rate.

(16-1-3. 87.5 percent) and were a seeded team in the NCAA tournament … Named America East first team all-conference and conference Striker of the Year … NSCAA First-Team All-American … Finished his Retrievers career with 37 goals … 2012: Notched 14 goals and four assists in 22 games (20 starts) ... Led America East in goals, goals per game (0.64), points (32) and points per game (1.45) … Voted America East Striker of the Year and First Team all-conference … NSCAA All-Northeast Region Second Team ... 2011:  Four goals and five assists in 18 games (all starts) ...  Named America East First Team all-conference … 2010: Six goals and five assists in 20 games (14 starts) as a freshman … Named to the America East Conference All-Rookie team and Second Team All-Conference.

PDL: Played for the Baltimore Bohemians in 2012 and 2013 … Won the league’s Golden Boot award in 2013 with 16 goals in 12 games and was named PDL Young Player of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Captained the Calvert Hall squad and led the Cardinals for the second straight year in scoring by posting 15 goals in his senior campaign… Baltimore Sun First-Team All-Metro honoree… Also earned Second-Team All-State honors in 2009.

CLUB: Standout for Baltimore Bays Chelsea in U.S. Soccer Development Academy play … His Bays team also won US Youth Soccer national championships at U-14, U-15 and U-19 levels.

PERSONAL: Majored in psychology at UMBC ...Favorite pro team is AC Milan … Father Pete Jr. is a former pro player (played with the NASL's Washington Diplomats) and veteran coach who has led the Retrievers program for 23 years.
