A talented striker, Paulo Jr. joined Whitecaps FC on January 16, 2013, after being selected with the 10th pick in Stage 2 of the 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft on December 14, 2012. Paulo Jr. continues his MLS career with Vancouver after playing the past three seasons with Real Salt Lake.
