Career Summary

Transferred to Colo-Colo on July 6, 2016.

 

Rivero is a streaky forward who led Vancouver in scoring in 2015. The Uruguayan is a rising star in MLS and has considerable potential.

INTERNATIONAL: Represented Uruguay on the U-17 age level, including the 2009 South American U-17 Championship.

 

OUTSIDE MLS: Began his professional career at Central Español in his native Uruguay in 2012. He then moved to Rentistas before joining Chilean side O'Higgins prior to his move to MLS. Won the 2015 Amway Canadian Championship with Vancouver.

 

NOTES: Ranked 18th in the 2015 edition of MLS 24 Under 24 list, Rivero also won the Etihad Airways Player of the Month award for March 2015.
