CURRENT CLUB: Puebla (Mexico)
Moisés Muñoz has been one of the top goalkeepers in Liga MX for over a decade and is an alternative option for coach Miguel Herrera at the World Cup.
MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM
Since his first call-up in 2005 Muñoz has appeared sparingly for Mexico. However, given his familiarity with new coach Miguel Herrera he was chosen to be the starting goalkeeper in Mexico's World Cup qualification playoff matches against New Zealand.
A legend at Morelia after spending 11 years at the club, Muñoz joined Club América in 2012. In the 2013 Clausura Liguilla Final he led his team to victory by scoring a stoppage time goal and conceding just two goals in the ensuing penalty shootout. Muñoz is currently on loan with with Puebla.
