Taintor is a young center back who joins TFC on loan looking to provide depth.
COLLEGE: Taintor attended Rutgers University for four years, where he played for the Scarlet Knights. Scoring 13 times in 71 appearances, while also recording eight assists, he was named to the NSCAA Second Team All-Midwest Region, Second Team All-Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Conference All-Tournament Team.
OUTSIDE MLS: Taintor has appeared and started in five matches for Sacramento Republic FC in 2018. Prior to joining Sacramento, Taintor spent two seasons (2016 & 2017) with Toronto FC II. During his time with the Young Reds, he appeared in 47 matches registering three goals and one assist.
