Career Summary


Ecuadorian attacking midfielder/ winger Miller Bolaños joined Chivas USA during the 2012 preseason on January 6 from Ecuadorian side L.D.U. Quito. Bolaños, originally from Eloy Alfaro, Ecuador began his professional career at the age of 16 with Barcelona Sporting Club of Guayaquil. In 2009, he transferred to LDU Quito where he appeared in 93 matches (65 starts) and scored 22 goals; both teams are a part of the Ecuadorian Serie A, the highest level of soccer in the country. Bolaños additionally participated in the in U-17 South American Championship in 2007 with Ecuador’s National U-17’s Team, where he figured in the 5-4 win over Brazil. On August 29, 2009, Bolaños scored LDU’s 2,500 goal in the club’s history during a 4-0 win over Liga de Portoviejo. He nows plays for Gremio in Brazl and has over twenty caps for country.
