Sherrod was reunited with Dom Kinnear in San Jose after his promising rookie season in Houston was cut short with a knee injury. He set a career high in minutes in 2015, and will hope to break into the regular rotation in 2016.

COLLEGE: Finished his Memphis career ranked third in school history in goals, with 42. In 2013, he was team captain and First Team All-American Athletic Conference selection. In 2012, he was Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference-USA. In 2011, he set the school's single-season goals record with 19 on his way to Conference USA Player of the Year, Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference USA honors. Sherrod was also one of 15 semifinalists for the Hermann Trophy.
