Marco Verratti

Marco Verratti is a young deep lying playmaker who has been hailed as the next Andrea Pirlo. He signed a five year contract with PSG before the 2012-13 season, leaving his hometown club Pescara.

ITALIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Verratti made his international debut with Italy in August 2012 against England. He scored a goal against the Netherlands in February 2013.

CLUB CAREER

Verratti spent two full seasons playing for Pescara before moving on to PSG. He has made 56 Ligue 1 appearances over the last two seasons, winning the league title in both seasons.
