Option declined following 2017 season.

A midseason acquisition, Pelosi made 12 appearances and seven starts for the Quakes in the second half of 2015. Technically gifted, he offers a different option for Coach Kinnear in the center of the park. He will hope to contend for a starting place by the end of the 2016 season, after he recovers from offseason knee surgery.

INTERNATIONAL: Pelosi, 21, captained the U.S. to the Round of 16 in the 2011 U-17 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. In January 2014, Pelosi earned his first invitation to train with the U.S. senior team. He also represented the U.S. U-23s in the Toulon Tournament in May, making three starts and four total appearances and helping lead the squad to a third-place finish.

OUTSIDE MLS: As one of the 2011 U17 World Cup's most impressive players, Pelosi was pursued by numerous professional teams, both domestically and internationally, eventually signing with Liverpool's youth academy. He competed with Liverpool's U-18 and U-21 clubs over four years.
